Jessie Bridgewater, Ph.D.

Jessie M. Bridgewater, Ph.D., is an American Association for the Advancement of Science/Society for Research in Child Development Policy Fellow with PTCIB. She also provides support to the Child Development and Behavior Branch and the Office of Health Equity. She has expertise in risk and resilience processes among ethnic and racial minority youth, with a special interest in research regarding childhood adversity, biases, and parenting processes. 

Dr. Bridgewater received her B.A. in psychology and M.A. in clinical psychology at California State University, Northridge. She received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of California, Riverside, with specialized training in quantitative as well as diversity and inclusion psychology.
