NICHD leads research and works as a partner with many organizations, including the March of Dimes, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, to support research promoting the importance of pre-pregnancy and prenatal care. These partnerships improve pregnancy outcomes and reduce the risk for fetal and infant morbidities and mortality.
