Beginning in late July, NIH will start introducing a new website experience designed to make it easier to find health information, research, funding opportunities, and other resources. During the transition, you may notice changes to navigation, page layouts, and where some information is located.

NICHD uses various notices of funding opportunities, including requests for applications (RFAs) and program announcements (PAs/PARs), and notices (NOTs) of changes and guidelines to stimulate and support research activities at universities and other academic institutions.

This section highlights active funding opportunities and notices to support research and training activities, and describes the mechanisms that NICHD uses to fund research. NICHD also takes part in NIH-wide NOFOs related to dissemination and implementation research in health relevant to NICHD’s mission.
