NICHD is participating in the NIH-wide notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs) related to D&I research in health. NICHD is especially interested in studies that aim to promote broad implementation and adaptation of interventions with proven efficacy, as well as studies that aim to de-implement interventions that have been shown not to be efficacious.
The institute encourages D&I applications relevant to the NICHD mission, including (but not limited to) normal and abnormal human development, contraception, fertilization, pregnancy, childbirth, prenatal and postnatal development, childhood development through adolescence, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and rehabilitation medicine.
