Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma: NICHD Research Information

The NICHD supports research to better understand, diagnose, and treat pheochromocytoma. As a supporter of leading research in pheochromocytoma, the NICHD plays a critical role in advancing the understanding of this disease. The NICHD also has co-sponsored events to bring together leaders in the field to discuss the management of pheochromocytoma and other adrenal gland tumors. The NICHD currently supports leading research on the etiology, pathophysiology, genetics, diagnosis, localization, and treatment of pheochromocytoma.
