Database of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Conditions

The overall purpose of this study is to provide medical and surgical management of specific PAG conditions and to gather information over time from large groups of patients within each of diagnosis to help improve our understanding of these conditions. The rare conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract – such as:
    • Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH)
    • Obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly (OHVIRA)
    • Obstructed uterine horn
    • Vaginal septum  
  • Reproductive Endocrine Conditions Occurring in Adolescence– such as:
    • Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)
    • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
  • Turner Syndrome
    • Turner syndrome (TS) is diagnosed when individuals assigned female sex at birth have an absence or difference of the second X-chromosome associated with a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations. A multidisciplinary approach including gynecology and endocrinology allows for a comprehensive assessment and expert recommendations for the medical management of children, adolescent and adults with TS.
