    This Web-based training course is designed to guide clinicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vaginitis. This module is based on the sexually transmitted disease (STD) curriculum developed by the National Network of STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers under the direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment Guidelines, 2010
    These guidelines for the treatment of persons who have or are at risk for STDs were updated by the CDC after consultation with a group of STD experts who met in Atlanta on April 18–30, 2009. Included in these updated guidelines is new information regarding the expanded diagnostic evaluation for cervicitis and trichomoniasis; new treatment recommendations for bacterial vaginosis and genital warts; the clinical efficacy of azithromycin for chlamydial infections in pregnancy; the role of Mycoplasma genitalium and trichomoniasis in urethritis/cervicitis and treatment-related implications; and STD prevention approaches.
