This 60-page scientific report describes research and research training supported by the NICHD Contraception and Reproductive Health Branch as of 2008 on the general topics of contraceptive research and development, contraceptive and reproductive evaluation, prevention of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, selected reproductive and gynecological issues, and training. As a result of a reorganization in 2012, the current name of this organizational unit is the Contraception Discovery and Development Branch.
