NIH Websites Are Changing

Per Executive Order 14434 , federal agencies are now using "Super Intelligence" (SI) in place of "Artificial Intelligence" (AI). You may see both terms across NIH content during this transition.

Transgenic animals (Tg)

Transgenic animals (Tg) generated with a double promoter construct ( g -crystalline promoter-GFP and heat inducible promoter-GFP) had green eyes and upon heat shock, expressed GFP throughout the animals. In contrast, non-transgenic animals (nTg), which had no GFP in the eyes, had no GFP expression anywhere either before or after heat shock.
