Biosketch

Bryan Reed is NICHD’s chief administrative officer and chief of the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), which provides administrative service and business administration support to NICHD.

Prior to joining NICHD in 2016, Mr. Reed was a deputy branch chief at the National Eye Institute and served as a senior administrative officer at both the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Before coming to NIH in 2007, Mr. Reed worked for the U.S. Army for eight years as a psychometrist, conducting neuropsychological evaluations at DeWitt Army Community Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (formerly Walter Reed Army Medical Center and National Naval Medical Center).

Mr. Reed earned both his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his master of professional studies in industrial organizational psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
