Zoom webinar; registration is free but required
The Medical Rehabilitation Research Speaker Series provides an opportunity for selected NCMRR grantees to share their research with colleagues from rehabilitation-related and other fields.
This inaugural session features NCMRR grantees James Finley, Ph.D., and Ela Plow, Ph.D., P.T., presenting their advances in the field of stroke rehabilitation.
Dr. Finley directs the Locomotor Control Laboratory at the University of Southern California, where he investigates how locomotion is controlled and adapted in both the healthy and injured neuromuscular system.
Dr. Plow runs a lab at Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute, where she investigates neuroplasticity to create windows of opportunity to improve neurological outcomes.
Series events will include presentations from the grantees followed by a question-and-answer session.
Individuals who need reasonable accommodations to participate in this activity should contact Eliza Polk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 301-242-0003 at least 5 days in advance.
