Purpose

For this webinar, Scott A. Waldman, M.D., Ph.D., FCP, will discuss strategies for success in targeting scientific manuscripts for publication in impactful journals.

In his presentation, Dr. Waldman will focus on:

  • Understanding what characteristics make a scientific manuscript impactful.
  • Learning what journal editors look for in manuscripts for publication.
  • Defining the metrics and their associated strategies and considerations that shape journal decisions about manuscripts.

Dr. Waldman is director of the Delaware Valley Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, director of the gastrointestinal cancer program of the Kimmel Cancer Center, and chairman of the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics of Thomas Jefferson University.
