This 102-page scientific report outlines the research and research training supported by the Endocrinology, Nutrition, and Growth Branch as of June 2009. The Branch portfolio includes research on the endocrinological and nutritional influences on growth, body composition, puberty, skeletal accretion, and brain development, as well as prevention of chronic diseases. As a result of a reorganization in 2012, the current name of this organizational unit is the Pediatric Growth and Nutrition Branch.
