Jing Yu, Ph.D., is a staff scientist in SBSB, working with Dr. Stephen Gilman to examine socioeconomic and racial/ethnic disparities in child development and long-term health. She currently is examining the associations of early life adversity and maternal inflammation during pregnancy with children's neurocognitive functioning and their premature mortality through mid-adulthood. In addition, she is working on risk and resilience factors for adolescent mental health and suicidal behaviors in their transition to young adulthood.
