Clinical Trials

ClinicalTrials.gov , managed by the National Library of Medicine, is the primary federal online resource for information about clinical trials, including eligibility requirements and contact information. Visit http://www.clinicaltrials.gov to search for clinical trials by topic or condition.

You can also contact the NIH Patient Recruitment and Public Liaison Office at 1-800-411-1222 or at prpl@mail.cc.nih.gov to learn whether you or a family member might be eligible for a clinical trial.

Grant Information

NICHD's Office of Extramural Policy provides guidance on and interpretation of NIH policies related to research grant applications and administration. The Office also addresses inquiries related to Requests for Applications (RFAs) and Program Announcements (PAs/PARs/PASs) and other funding opportunity announcements.

NICHD's Grants Management Branch provides guidance and answers to questions related to funded grants and and progress reports. You can also visit the NIH Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tool (RePORT)  to search for funded projects using different variables, such as researcher name or institution.

Contracts and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

NICHD's Office of Acquisitions provides resources and guidance to assist the Institute in acquiring research and development services using RFPs to solicit contract proposals.
