Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), part of the NIH within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is committed to supporting research in the neurosciences, particularly as they affect developing systems and rehabilitation.
The NICHD supports the full spectrum of basic, clinical, and translational research in the biomedical and behavioral neuroscience arenas. This website provides information for researchers, scientists, health care providers, and others about NICHD funding and research opportunities within the neurosciences.
In addition to NICHD-sponsored initiatives and investigator-initiated projects, the NICHD also supports trans-NIH activities, including the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) initiative and the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research.
We look forward to seeing you this year, November 11-15, 2017, at the 47th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience in Washington, DC. As always you'll be able to find us at our kiosk in the Institute/Government Agency section of the Exhibitor Area. In the meantime, feel free to contact us at any time to discuss your research efforts.
