Uba Backonja, M.S., R.N, is a Graduate Partnership Program Predoctoral Fellow through the NIH Intramural Research Program. She earned her BS in Nursing and Master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she currently is a Doctoral Candidate. She joined the DESPR Epidemiology Branch in 2013, and is working on her dissertation with Dr. Germaine M Buck Louis on the Endometriosis: Natural History, Diagnosis, and Outcomes (ENDO) Study. Her research interests are in women's health promotion and disease prevention, mHealth, and community health.
