Alison Harrill, Ph.D., is a toxicologist who serves as a program officer with OPPTB. Her research interests include toxicology and adverse events associated with therapeutics, precision medicine, population dynamics, and differential susceptibility in therapeutic response; systems biology tools (transcriptomics, genetics/genomics, and metabolomics); and microphysiologic in vitro and organ-on-a-chip models for nonclinical safety testing.
Prior to joining NICHD, Dr. Harrill served as a geneticist/toxicologist for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences’ National Toxicology Program. She also held leadership roles in professional societies focused on advancing the science of toxicology and pharmacology.
