This Program, directed by Dr. Esther Eisenberg, emphasizes clinical research that explores new and effective methods for diagnosis, management, and prevention of infertility as well as the underlying diseases and disorders that affect fertility. In addition, the program supports clinical studies that evaluate new therapeutic interventions and ways to optimize current therapeutic strategies for management of infertility. A major goal of this Program is to better understand the etiology and pathophysiology of diseases and disorders that cause infertility and impaired fecundity, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, primary ovarian insufficiency, idiopathic hypothalamic hypogonadism (IHH), and other causes of infertility.
