Topics will include methodology and measurement of health literacy, special populations, the relationship of health literacy to health outcomes, intervention design and delivery, actionable research, and quantitative literacy. This grantee meeting precedes the NIH Summit: The Science of Eliminating Health Disparities, December 16-18, 2008, also at the Gaylord National Resort. The NIH Summit will incorporate health literacy sessions on the afternoons of December 16 and 17. [link to this FOA]
