NICHD SECCYD Datasets & Documentation

Applying for Datasets

SECCYD protocol documentation and datasets containing analysis and item-level variables are available to qualified researchers. Researchers who qualify become affiliates with the SECCYD. The application process is required to protect the rights of participants.

In order to receive the data, researchers and institutions must meet the criteria and obligations for use of restricted-use data. Details of these requirements and application forms are available through the University of Michigan Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research here.

Funding for the SECCYD ended in 2009. However, the use and analysis of the data is ongoing.

For more information on the data available, please review the Study Instruments section of this site.
