Neuroscience Research Support at the NICHD

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), part of the National Institutes of Health within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is committed to supporting research in the neurosciences, particularly as they affect developing systems and rehabilitation.

The NICHD supports the full spectrum of basic, clinical, and translational research in the biomedical and behavioral neuroscience arenas.

In addition to NICHD-sponsored initiatives and investigator-initiated projects, the NICHD also supports neuroscience research through the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research.

This Web site provides information for researchers, scientists, health care professionals, and others interested in supporting, conducting, or furthering neuroscience research.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming 43rd annual meeting in San Diego, CA, November 9-13, 2013. You can find us at our kiosk in the Institute/Government Agency section of the Exhibitor Area. In the meantime, feel free to contact us at any time to discuss your research efforts.
