The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), part of the National Institutes of Health within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is committed to supporting research in the neurosciences, particularly as they affect developing systems and rehabilitation. The NICHD supports the full spectrum of basic, clinical, and translational research in the biomedical and behavioral neuroscience arenas. In addition to investigator-initiated projects, the NICHD also supports neuroscience research through the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research. This Web site provides information for researchers, scientists, health care professionals, and others interested in supporting, conducting, or furthering neuroscience research. We hope you were able to visit us at the 39th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience meeting in Chicago. We look forward to seeing you at the 40th annual meeting in San Diego, 2010. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding this site or neuroscience research support at the NICHD, please contact us.
