The NICHD is one of several NIH Institutes that conduct and support research to advance understanding of urinary tract health in women, men, children, and those with disabilities. The Institute also works with the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, other NIH Institutes, and other agencies and organizations to study different aspects of urinary tract health, including UTIs and UI, among specific populations.
