Featured NICHD Clinical Trial on Urinary Tract Health

Refractory Overactive Bladder: Sacral Neuromodulation v. BoTulinum Toxin Assessment (ROSETTA) This study will compare the effectiveness of botulinum toxin A (Botox A®, Allergan) to that of sacral neuromodulation (InterStim®, Medtronic) in treating refractory urge UI. The study also will evaluate select technical attributes of the interventions and their effects on other lower urinary tract and pelvic floor symptoms.
