Does the study of epigenetics & developmental epigenetics offer a cure for some diseases?

Many diseases, such as cancer, stem at least in part from epigenetic changes. With this knowledge, researchers are studying how drug treatments might repair the disease-related epigenetic changes. Some epigenetic therapies are already being used to treat certain cancers.
