Rebecca L. Clark received her Ph.D. in sociology with specializations in demography and urban studies from Brown University. She oversees the Branch's extramural portfolios on immigration, internal migration and population distribution, race and ethnicity, population and environment, and demographic methods. She manages the Population Research Infrastructure Program and the NICHD Mentored Population Research Scientist Development Award Program (K01) and co-manages the Branch's National Research Service Award Institutional Research Training Grants Program (T32). Before joining the Branch in February 2000, she was a senior researcher at the Urban Institute. Dr. Clark's research interests include immigration, public policy, and the family.
