Diabetes & Women’s Health Study- a study of long-term health implications of glucose intolerance in pregnancy (2010-2015) (Role: Principal Investigator) ($8,485,403.00)
An international study based on a novel hybrid design to investigate the biological, genetic, and lifestyle determinants and gene-environment interactions for the progression from gestational diabetes to type 2 diabetes and comorbidities among women and their children, and the underlying molecular mechanisms. Study website: www.dwhstudy.org External Web Site Policy

Novel biochemical markers & gestational diabetes (2008-2014) (Role: Principal Investigator) ($4,616,527)
A prospective study, nested in the NICHD Fetal Growth Study, of a comprehensive panel of biochemical markers putatively implicated in glucose homeostasis, fetal growth, or both. Targeted and non-targeted metabolomics will also be analyzed for the discovery of new pathways and/or biochemical markers related to glucose intolerance and subsequent adverse fetal outcomes.

Copeptin, lipids and retinol binding protein study in CPEP (2012-2013)
(Role: Co-Investigator; PI: Dr. E Yeung) ($367,675)
To understand the pathogenesis of preeclampsia and to explore the role of potential shared mechanisms with GDM using biospecimens collected from the Calcium for Preeclampsia Prevention (CPEP) study

Confirmation of genetic signals from genome wide association study of adiposity (2008-2010) (Role: Principal Investigator) ($98,798)
