Purpose

The NICHD Young Investigators Conference is an annual meeting that facilitates the interests and training of academic physician scientists. The meeting, now it its 25th year, invites fellows and junior faculty in neonatology, maternal fetal medicine, and reproductive endocrinology who plan academic medicine as a career. The fellows/junior faculty are nominated by their departments and approved by NICHD with a goal of approximately one attendee per program. Faculty, representatives, and thought leaders and mentors in the fields give lectures on cutting-edge topics and participate in breakout groups, including a mock study section, clinical trial design workshop, and sessions on balancing career, work, and home.

Participation in this meeting is by invitation only.
