NICHD Preapplication Workshop:

Registration and Schedule

The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development will convene an Information/Technical Assistance Preapplication Workshop for investigators planning to submit applications in response to RFA HD-02-012, "Cooperative Reproductive Science Research Centers at Minority Institutions." The purpose of this meeting is to provide prospective applicants with an opportunity to receive answers to their questions about the intent and requirements of the RFA.

NICHD staff will be available to discuss all aspects of the proposed new program, including:

• the cooperative agreement mechanism;
• the roles of the Steering Committee and Advisory Board;
• expected interactions among funded centers;
• the benefits of collaborative partnerships;
• the role of NICHD program staff;
• development of the application;
• the review process;
• grants management; and
• other appropriate items and questions.

Potential applicants to the RFA are not required to attend this workshop. A list of the questions asked during the workshop and a written summary of the responses from NICHD staff will be posted on this site following the meeting.

This meeting is open to the public. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit questions. To facilitate planning, we request that you register to attend the meeting by May 13, 2002.
